Summer Happenings at Heroes Grove

The following concerts have been scheduled by Lower Paxton Township at Dauphin County Heroes Grove in Brightbill Park.
In case of rain, the concerts will be held inside the nearby Friendship Community Center.

WHP Rally for Troops May 6 at Heroes Grove

On Saturday, May 6th, join RJ Harris and the WHP 580 crew from 12pm-1pm for a rally to support our troops working hard to defend our freedom.

NEW LOCATION: Hero’s Grove, Brightbill Park, 5000 Commons Dr, Harrisburg, PA 17112 (Behind Friendship Community Center)

TIME: 12pm - 1pm

Flags and posters in support of our troops are encouraged; however, in the interest of the safety of all who are attending, we ask that you not bring any type of sharp object to the rally.

Dauphin County Technical School Students Plant Trees

Students from Dauphin County Technical School (DCTS) recently spend a day planting trees at Heroes Grove. The trees were generously donated by Hoffman Ford.

Harrisburg Maennerchor Club Donates to Heroes Grove

Harrisburg Builders Association Donates to Heroes Grove

As part of the Veteran's Day ceremony at Dauphin County Heroes Grove officials from the Harrisburg Builders Association a presented Heroes Grove President Vince Pinizzotto with a check to help finance Phase 2 construction of the Dauphin County Heroes Grove.

Veterans' Day Ceremony at Heroes Grove

The first annual Veterans' Day ceremony was held on Friday, November 11th at Dauphin County Heroes Grove with the Linglestown American Legion Honor Guard helping to lead the festivities honoring our nation's veterans.

Giant Supermarkets Contribute to Heroes Grove

As part of the grand opening celebration of their new Lower Paxton Township store on Route # 22, Giant supermarkets donated $1,000.00 to help finance Phase 2 of the Heroes Grove project.

Colby Joseph Speck Honored With Hero Award

Colby Joseph Speck, age 10, was recently honored by the Heroes Grove Committee for saving the life of a family member by performing the Heimlich maneuver on her.

Ribbon Cutting Set for Heroes Grove

Dauphin County Heroes Grove Ribbon Cutting Scheduled
Official opening of amphitheater dedicated to community servants

Over a decade in the making, Dauphin County Heroes Grove in Lower Paxton Township’s Brightbill Park will officially open with ribbon cutting ceremonies on Friday, June 17th at 6 P.M. A free concert by the Lower Paxton Variety Band will immediately follow the ribbon cutting.

Dauphin County Heroes Grove Forms Nonprofit Corporation
Project now underway in Brightbill Park, Lower Paxton Township

(Dauphin County, PA) – Dauphin County Heroes Grove has now incorporated as a 501c3 nonprofit foundation known as Heroes Fund, Inc. The new nonprofit will serve as the fundraising vehicle for Dauphin County Heroes Grove which is now under construction in Brightbill Park in Lower Paxton Township.
